The type of wealth index (R) also showed better results on refugia land (RR = 2.9) than land without refugia (RK = 2.8). Meanwhile, the Diversity Index (H ') showed a higher value in the refugia land (H'R = 2.67) than the land without refugia (H'K = 2.19), and the Confix Index (E) was also better at Refugia land (ER = 0.85) compared to land without refugia (Ek = 0.71).

This study proves that the use of refugia plants not only functions in controlling rice pests in an environmentally friendly manner, but also contributes to increasing biodiversity. By applying this method, farmers can reduce dependence on chemical pesticides, thus protecting the environment and human health.
