Results

The results of the study showed that the user's perception of the library spatial layout is still uncomfortable. Most library members stated that the buildings, rooms, furniture, and library equipment have significant shortcomings. The data revealed that 62.2% of library members consider supporting facilities, such as toilets, less clean and unkempt. In addition, almost half of the respondents, namely 43.9%, felt uneasy while inside the library because of the noise originating from outside.

Cleanliness and maintenance of facilities, especially toilets, must be a priority to create a clean and comfortable environment. Therefore, library managers can consider making improvements to the acoustic design of the room or instill a solution to reduce the impact of noise from outside.
