The Influence Of Work Motivation On The Work Productivity Of The Nurul'azizi Integrated Islamic College Teacher
Introduction
The quality of education in any institution is heavily dependent on the productivity of its teachers. In the context of the Nurul'azizi Integrated Islamic College, the work productivity of its teachers plays a crucial role in shaping the academic development of its students. One of the key factors that influence teacher work productivity is work motivation. This study aims to investigate the influence of work motivation on the work productivity of teachers in the Nurul'azizi Integrated Islamic College.
The Significance of Work Motivation in Education
Work motivation is a critical factor in increasing employee productivity, including teachers. In the context of education, teacher work motivation greatly affects the quality of classroom teaching and management. Motivated teachers tend to be more excited, innovative, and have high dedication to their students. They are also more active in finding more effective and fun teaching methods, which ultimately contribute to student academic development.
Research has shown that work motivation is influenced by various factors, including work environment, appreciation, career development, and relationships between colleagues. A supportive work environment, where teachers feel valued and have the opportunity to develop, can increase their work motivation. For example, regular training and workshops can improve teacher skills and knowledge, making them more confident in carrying out their teaching tasks.
The Role of School Management in Fostering Work Motivation
Good communication between school management and teachers is essential in increasing motivation. Support from the school in terms of providing adequate learning facilities, such as comfortable classrooms and complete learning resources, can help teachers feel more motivated to provide the best. School management can also play a crucial role in creating an environment that supports and facilitates teacher work motivation.
Methodology
This study used a quantitative research method, with a research subject of 60 teachers from the Nurul'azizi Integrated Islamic College. Data collection was done using a Likert scale consisting of work motivation scale and work productivity scale. Simple linear regression analysis methods were used to analyze the data.
Results
The results of the study showed that work motivation has a positive influence on the work productivity of teachers in the Nurul'azizi Integrated Islamic College. The significance value (GIS) of 0.000 was smaller than 0.05, and the F value of 41,075 was greater than 4.01, indicating a significant effect of work motivation on work productivity. The T value of 6,049 was also greater than 2.0017, further supporting the conclusion.
Furthermore, the results of the analysis indicated that work motivation contributes 41.5% to the work productivity of teachers in the Nurul'azizi Integrated Islamic College. This means that the higher the level of work motivation possessed by the teacher, the higher the level of work productivity they achieve.
Conclusion
Based on the results of the research and analysis conducted, it can be concluded that work motivation has a significant influence on teacher work productivity in the Integrated Islamic University of Nurul'azizi. Therefore, it is essential for school management to continue to create an environment that supports and facilitates teacher work motivation. By increasing motivation, it is expected that teacher work productivity can increase, which in turn has a positive impact on the quality of education in the institution.
