Methodology

This study uses human resource management theory related to work discipline, work environment, and work performance. The research method used is a survey approach with a type of descriptive research and explanation. The study population totaled 41 people with a total sample of 41 people. Data collection was carried out through interviews, questionnaires, and documentation studies. Data analysis uses multiple linear regression models to answer the research hypothesis.

Results

The results of this study showed that simultaneously, work discipline and work environment had a positive and significant influence on employee performance. Partially, the influence of the work environment is more dominant than work discipline. Work discipline also has a positive and significant influence on employee performance. Likewise, the work environment also has a positive and significant influence on employee performance.

Discussion

The results of this study provide important information for the Samosir Regency Bappeda to improve its employees' performance. Bappeda Samosir needs to focus on efforts to build a conducive work environment, such as providing adequate work facilities, creating a positive work atmosphere, and building effective communication between employees. In addition, Bappeda Samosir also needs to encourage and build a high work discipline among its employees.

Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that:
