Introduction

The population in this study consisted of employees of PT PLN (Persero) North Sumatra generation, specifically those working in the fields of law, community relations, and human resources. A census method was employed, where all 63 members of the population were involved in this study. Primary data were collected through questionnaires and interviews, while secondary data were taken from relevant companies and literature.
The data analysis methods used included descriptive analysis and quantitative analysis with multiple linear regression analysis techniques. The results of the analysis show that the work environment and work stress variables, both simultaneously and partially, have a positive and significant impact on employee performance at PT PLN (Persero) Generating Northern Sumatra. Adjusted R Square's contribution of the two variables reached 63.1%, while the remaining 36.9% was influenced by other factors that were not involved in this study.
