Since 2009, Palembang City Social Affairs has been actively involved in minimizing the number of people with social welfare problems (PMKS) in Palembang City. The office has always adapted to social changes in the city of Palembang and made a significant contribution to the community. To achieve this goal, the application of Good Governance is the main key. Good governance in this context refers to the concept of solid and responsible development management, in line with the values of democracy and efficient market principles.

Organizational performance, on the other hand, is the result of cooperation between members or organizational components in achieving common goals. This study aims to reveal the effect of the application of good governance on the performance of the organization of the Social Affairs of Palembang City. The method used in this study is quantitative analysis with data analysis techniques in the form of correlation between variables. This analysis aims to prove the influence between good governance and organizational performance.
