The data collected through the questionnaire method is then analyzed by the linear regression test to determine the significant relationship between the two variables. Results
The results showed that the educational, supportive, and managerial ability variables of the head of the room had a significant influence on the performance of the implementing nurse (p <0.005). Among the three variables, the managerial ability of the head of the room has the greatest impact on the performance of nurses, with a coefficient (B) value of 0.407. This indicates that the better the managerial ability of the head of the room, the higher the nurse's performance. The results suggest that effective supervision is critical for improving nurse performance.
Discussion
The simple regression model used in this study is noted to be able to predict the influence of the head's supervision capabilities on the performance of nurses in RSUD Dr. Djasamen Saragih with a R Square value of 25.9%. This means that 25.9% variations in nurses' performance can be explained by the ability of the head supervision of the room. The results provide insight into the importance of supervision in improving nurse performance.
Conclusion
From the results of the study, it can be concluded that as a supervisor in the practice of nursing management, the head of the room needs to understand and optimize various factors that influence the performance of nurses. To achieve this increase, the head of the room is expected to apply routine activities and better supervision models. Effective implementation of supervision will not only improve the performance of nurses, but also the quality of health services provided to patients in hospitals. The study highlights the importance of effective supervision in improving nurse performance and patient outcomes.
