Results
The results of this study showed that both plastic mulch density and watering intervals have a significant effect on the growth of breadfruit seeds. Both factors affected parameters such as height, diameter, number of leaves, leaf water content, root length, root dry weight, dry weight, and leaf area. However, the interaction between the treatment of mulch density and watering intervals only had a significant impact on the height of the plant and dry weight of the canopy.
