Methodology
Coriander leaf extract was produced through the maceration method, using 96% ethanol solvent and ethyl acetate. After the maceration process, the resulting solution was evaporated to obtain a thick extract. The extract concentration tested consisted of 500 mg/ml, 400 mg/ml, 300 mg/ml, 200 mg/ml, 100 mg/ml, 75 mg/ml, 50 mg/ml, 25 mg/ml, and 10 mg/ml. Testing antibacterial activity was carried out by agar diffusion method, where the inhibition zone of bacterial growth was measured to determine the minimum inhibitory concentration (KHM).

The results of the analysis show that both simplicia and ethanol and ethyl acetate extracts in coriander leaves contain various secondary metabolitic compounds, including alkaloids, tannins, flavonoids, steroids, saponins, and glycosides.
