Sampling was carried out in June to July 2019 using 48 units of bubu tools that were repeated three times with a 14 -day interval. Each caught crab is calculated in number, and two specimens of each type found are taken to be preserved using 70% alcohol before identification based on reference books.

Results

The analysis of the results showed that the abundance of mangrove crabs in these waters was relatively low, with an average of 5-7 individuals per square meter (Ind/m²). Diversity (H ') is also classified as low, ranging from 0.661 to 0.826. Dominance (D) Mangrove crabs range from 0.559 to 0.853, while uniformity (E) ranges from 0.602 to 0.728. Research also found that some physical-chemical parameters, such as brightness, depth, pH, dissolved oxygen levels (DO), and salinity have a positive relationship with the abundance and diversity of mangrove crabs. However, some parameters such as temperature, nitrate, phosphate, and current velocity do not indicate a significant relationship.
