Laboratory research was conducted to obtain data on mineral index, which includes soil texture analysis using the pipette method and bulk density analysis using the ring sample method. The results of morphological analysis showed that Pedon P1 had Horizon AP-IIC1-IIC2-BW-IC, while P2 had an AP-BW-CL-C2 horizon. In general, the texture of the two pedons is dominated by the texture of the sand clay.

Results

From the bulk density analysis, it was found that the highest type of density was in horizon C with a value of 0.92. Analysis of soil development is determined based on the mineral index, which indicates that the development of soil is in the medium stage. This can be seen from the increase in clay content at this time compared to the original clay. Thus, the development of land in Lingga Julu Village can be classified on a moderate scale.
