Introduction

This study aims to investigate the relationship between age, length of work, and lighting levels with complaints of eye fatigue, also known as Astenopia, among computer users at PT. Socfin Indonesia.

Good occupational safety and health (K3) is crucial in ensuring the well-being of workers. It not only makes workers feel safer and more protected but also increases their comfort and productivity at work. However, with the increasing use of digital devices, various health problems have emerged, particularly related to eye health. Eye fatigue is one of the common problems faced by computer users, and it is essential to address this issue to prevent long-term damage to eye health.

This research was conducted using a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional design. A sample of 30 computer users at PT. Socfin Indonesia was selected using the purposive sampling method, in accordance with the inclusion criteria. Data analysis was carried out using the Fisher's Exact Test, as the Chi-Square test did not meet the requirements.

The results of the study showed a significant relationship between age, length of work, and lighting rates with complaints of eye fatigue, with a p-value of 0.042, 0.000, and 0.041, respectively. The p-value of less than 0.05 indicates that the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected, which means there is a significant relationship between these variables and Astenopia complaints among computer users.
