Introduction

This study employed a proportional random sampling approach to collect data from users of the Catholic University of St. Thomas Medan Library. A total of 100 questionnaires were distributed directly to the library, and the data collected was analyzed using quantitative methods. The results of this study showed that circulation services at the Catholic University of St. Thomas Medan Library had met the user's expectations, reflected in high levels of satisfaction. In the dimension of reliability, as many as 56% of respondents gave an assessment that the library staff was very good in being polite when providing circulation services. This suggests that users perceive the library staff as being friendly and courteous, which is essential for building trust and confidence in the library's services.
In the dimension of responsiveness, as many as 82% of respondents considered staff as very good in responding and showing attention to questions related to circulation services. This indicates that users feel that the library staff is responsive to their needs and provides timely assistance, which is critical for ensuring that users can access the resources they need.
Furthermore, in the empathy dimension, 56% of respondents gave an assessment that the staff communication style for users was very good when providing circulation services. This suggests that users perceive the library staff as being empathetic and understanding, which is essential for building a positive relationship with users.
In the guarantee dimension, 53% of respondents considered that staff hospitality in providing circulation services was also very good. This indicates that users feel that the library staff provides a welcoming and inclusive environment, which is critical for ensuring that users feel comfortable and supported.
Finally, in the form of tangible dimensions, as many as 54% of respondents give a positive assessment of cleanliness both inside and outside the library area. This suggests that users perceive the library as being well-maintained and clean, which is essential for creating a positive and comfortable learning environment.

The results of this study suggest that the quality of circulation services at the Catholic University of St. Thomas Medan Library not only meets but also exceeds the expectations of the library. This shows that users are satisfied and assume that the services provided are worthy of thumbs up.
