To achieve this objective, the study was conducted in three different locations: Sitinjak Village in West Angkola District, Tapian Nauli Village in South Angkola District, and Pasar Pasar Perfect Village in Marancar District. The method used was a comparative descriptive survey, involving the collection of 10 soil samples from each location. These soil samples were then analyzed in the laboratory, paying attention to various parameters, including H2O, C-Organic, N-Total, texture, P-Available, B-Basa, Cation Exchange Capacity, and other elements such as K, CA, MG, and Na.

The analysis method used in this study was multiple linear regression analysis. Before interpreting the results, the feasibility of the regression model was tested using a classic assumption test and factor analysis with the help of SPSS V.24 for Windows statistics software. The results of the analysis showed that the variables of P-available, K-Tukar, Na-Tukar, Bausalness, and Elevation have a positive influence on the quality of the sweet taste of salak fruit in South Tapanuli Regency.
