The assessment of these variables is done by giving value, with the following categories:

  • 2:45 (Special): Employees who achieve exceptional performance and demonstrate outstanding skills and abilities.
  • 36-44 (Good): Employees who achieve good performance and demonstrate satisfactory skills and abilities.
  • 25-35 (Medium): Employees who achieve average performance and demonstrate moderate skills and abilities.
  • 21-24 (Less): Employees who achieve below-average performance and demonstrate limited skills and abilities.
  • 20 and underneath (Bad): Employees who achieve poor performance and demonstrate inadequate skills and abilities.

In addition to the assessment of employee performance, 8 questions were asked to doctors and 7 questions to medical and non-medical employees to determine the level of satisfaction with the assessment system carried out. The results show that more than 50% of employees are satisfied with the applicable achievement and promotion appraisal.

The results of this study indicate that the assessment and promotion system in Permata Bunda Medan Hospital is effective in evaluating employee performance and promoting employees based on their performance. The study also found that more than 50% of employees are satisfied with the assessment system carried out.
