Evaluation Of Recipe Services At Stabat Health Center, Stabat District
Introduction
Health services at the Stabat Health Center, Stabat District, play a vital role in improving public health. The Ministry of Health, as a first-level health effort, is committed to improving individuals and public health by supporting high-quality pharmaceutical services. In order to achieve this goal, the Ministry of Health issued Regulation No. 30 of 2014, which regulates pharmaceutical service standards at the Puskesmas, to improve the quality of health services. This study aims to evaluate the quality of recipe services at the Stabat Health Center and measure the level of patient satisfaction with the service.
Methodology
The method used in this study is descriptive with data collection using the Slovin formula to determine the recipe service. Some indicators observed include the average time of preparation and delivery of drugs, the percentage of replacement of drug items, the percentage of complete ethical completeness of drugs, delivering drug information, and the amount of drugs in prescription. Data regarding the level of patient satisfaction is obtained through interviews with 222 patients who visit the pharmaceutical room. The questionnaire is distributed to patients to be assessed based on reliability, responsiveness, guarantee, empathy, and direct evidence of service.
Results
The results of data analysis using the Microsoft Excel program show that the average drug preparation time is 120.2 seconds (or around 2.02 minutes), with special drug preparation time reaching 350.2 seconds (5.83 minutes), and drug delivery time an average of 20 seconds. Of the 4 recipes analyzed, the percentage of drug items replaced is only 1.8%. The compliance of drug ethics writing reaches 88.28%, with 196 recipes written in full. The level of patient satisfaction is categorized quite well, with an average total value of 54.73. In addition, the quality of the recipe service is also considered quite good with an average total value of 13.98 from a maximum scale of 14.
Discussion
The results of this study indicate that although there are several areas that need to be improved, overall, the recipe service at the Stabat Health Center shows satisfactory performance for patients. Recipe service evaluation at the Stabat Health Center provides an overview of the effectiveness of existing service systems. Drug preparation and delivery time that is relatively fast shows that the Puskesmas is able to handle drug demand efficiently. However, the preparation time for special drugs that is long enough may indicate the complexity in the prescription received, so it needs more attention from pharmaceutical officers.
The percentage of low drug items replacement also shows that the Stabat Health Center is quite good in maintaining the availability of drugs in accordance with prescription. However, drug replacement must be considered so as not to affect patient satisfaction. Patient satisfaction that is classified as good enough can reflect a positive response to the services provided. However, there is still room for improvement, especially in terms of communication and information about drugs. This is important, considering the patient's understanding of the treatment received affects their compliance in undergoing treatment.
Conclusion
Overall, the results of this evaluation provide a strong basis for improving the quality of recipe services at the Stabat Health Center. Better management and efforts to increase training for officers will be very useful in improving the experience and satisfaction of patients in the future. The findings of this study can be used as a reference for the Stabat Health Center to improve its recipe services and provide better care for its patients.
