Statistically, there were significant differences in the CD4 expression between the KC400 and KS groups with a value of P <0.05. Although the CD8 expression in the KC400 group was higher than KS, the statistical ratio showed that only the IMB group was significantly different compared to KS (P <0.05).

This study indicates that the ethanol extract of ginger rhizomes with a dose of 400 mg/kgBB can increase the expression of CD4 and CD8 T cells in rats induced by cyclophosphamide and S. Typhimurium.
