This study aims to develop a nursing clinical round program at the Regional General Hospital (RSUD) of Padangsidimpuan City. The research follows an action research cycle that includes the stages of reconnaissance, planning, acting & observing, and reflecting. The study aims to improve patient satisfaction with nursing services and increase nurse job satisfaction.

Methodology

Data collection was carried out through several methods, including interviews, participant observation, dissemination of questionnaires, and focus group discussions (Focus Group Discussion/FGD). The research participant consisted of 19 nurses who worked in a special VIP inpatient room for Padangsidimpuan City Hospital. The data obtained were analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. Qualitative data were analyzed using content analysis techniques, while quantitative data regarding patient satisfaction with nursing services were presented in the frequency distribution table. In addition, nurse job satisfaction was measured using the Wilcoxon test with a p-value value of 0.02, which shows a significant difference in the job satisfaction of nurses before and after the application of the nursing clinical round program.
