Determining the Effective Pathway of Data Flow with SEM at PT. Anugrah Kurnia Pusaka

Introduction

In today's fast-paced business environment, effective data flow and information management are crucial for companies to provide high-quality services to their customers. PT. Anugrah Kurnia Pusaka, a private company in the field of land transportation services, aims to provide the best service to its customers by offering easy, cheap, and quality bus transportation services. However, the company faces challenges in identifying relationships between departments in moving data and information, making it difficult to build structured information networks.

The Importance of Data Flow and Information Management

Data flow and information management are essential components of any business operation. They enable companies to make informed decisions, improve their services, and increase customer satisfaction. Effective data flow and information management also help companies to reduce errors, improve efficiency, and increase productivity. In the context of PT. Anugrah Kurnia Pusaka, data flow and information management are critical to providing high-quality services to its customers.

The Use of Data Flow Diagram (DFD) and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM)

To overcome the challenges faced by PT. Anugrah Kurnia Pusaka in identifying relationships between departments in moving data and information, this study uses the Data Flow Diagram (DFD) and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) methods. DFD is a visual representation of the flow of data and information within an organization, while SEM is a statistical method used to analyze the relationships between variables.

Mapping and Analyzing the Pathway of Data and Information Flow

The study maps 18 processes of data and company information treatment activities, with 4 lines of relations between departments using DFD. The results of this mapping are then analyzed using SEM. The SEM method was chosen because some of the steps in the DFD are steps in SEM. The results of the analysis show that 15 of the 18 mapped processes have a significant influence (± 90%) on the company's operations, and all of them are on 4 effective pathways interaction between departments.

The Results of the Analysis

Further analysis shows that the level of relationship between departments is between 80% to 100%, with no errors in the delivery of data and information. This indicates that the flow of data and information at PT. Anugrah Kurnia Heritage is well structured and effective. The results of the analysis also show that the entire data and information processes can be compiled, with 12 data outputs and database-based information.

The Benefits of the Study

This study provides significant benefits for PT. Anugrah Kurnia Pusaka, including:

*** Building a structured, effective, and database-based data flow and information system. *** *** Reducing the problems that have been experienced by companies related to data and information flow. *** *** Improving company service performance in presenting data and information to consumers. ***

Conclusion

This study provides a real solution for PT. Anugrah Kurnia Pusaka to improve the company's operational efficiency and effectiveness, as well as increasing customer satisfaction through the presentation of accurate and structured data and information. The use of DFD and SEM methods has enabled the company to identify relationships between departments in moving data and information, and to build a structured and effective data flow and information system.
