Methodology
To achieve the goal of this study, the method used includes data analysis and web-GIS design. Data analysis tools used are Arcgis 10.3, while web-GIS development utilizes Visual Studio Code, MySQL, Leaflet, and Codeigniter. The results of this study are a web-based platform called Petahaujau.com. This website provides detailed information about the needs of green open space based on the analysis of oxygen needs, as well as the distribution of green open space in the city of Binjai.
Results
The results of this study show that Binjai Kota District shows the highest green open space requirements, while South Binjai District has the lowest needs. This shows that green open space planning is very crucial in the development of urban spatial planning.
