Introduction

This study selects a sample through a concenttive sampling method, where participants must meet several criteria. Inclusion criteria include paranoid schizophrenia sufferers who have oversized delusions and are aged between 10 to 55 years. Meanwhile, individuals who suffer from other medical conditions or have one parent not from the Karo tribe were expelled from this study. The data collected was then analyzed using the Chi-Square test to assess the relationship between demographics and the contents of delusions, with the level of meaningfulness determined in p <0.05.

The results showed that of the 50 sufferers studied, most of them were between 20 years (38.0%), dominated by men (52.0%), had the latest education at the high school level (56.0%), not working (68.0%), and live in Medan (56.0%).
