Analysis Of The Factors That Influence The Improvement Of Employee Performance At PT Sushi Indo Sukses Mandiri
Introduction
PT. Sushi Indo Sukses Mandiri is a rapidly growing restaurant in the city of Medan, with a strong focus on achieving company goals. One of the key factors that support the achievement of these goals is the performance of employees. However, the company has only focused on competency assessment related to employee soft skills, without measuring the performance of HR as a whole. As a result, the factors that influence employee performance have not been clearly identified, making it difficult to increase the quality of employee performance optimally.
In the company, several issues related to employee performance are of concern, including unbalanced workload, lack of employee competencies, and lack of supervision of the work process. Excessive workload can cause stress, both physically and psychologically, leading to symptoms such as headaches, indigestion, and easily angry moods. Conversely, if the workload is too light, monotonous jobs can cause boredom, resulting in a lack of focus and attention to existing tasks. This situation has the potential to endanger employee productivity and has a negative impact on company performance.
Research Methodology
The purpose of this study was to identify the factors that cause a decrease in employee performance at PT Sushi Indo Sukses Mandiri and formulate an alternative policy to improve employee performance so that the company's targets could be achieved. The research method used is a survey approach with quantitative descriptive research types. Data collection was carried out through the distribution of questionnaires and documentation studies, while data analysis used multiple linear regression.
Results and Discussion
The results of the study show that simultaneously, workload, competency, and supervision have a positive and significant influence on employee performance at PT Sushi Indo Sukses Mandiri. Partially, each of these variables also contributes significantly to employee performance. Workload plays a positive role, as well as competence and supervision. The coefficient of determination of the three factors can explain the variation of employee performance by 71%, which shows a strong enough effect because it is above 50%. Meanwhile, the remaining 29% is influenced by other variables outside the studied.
The results of this study have several implications for the management of PT Sushi Indo Sukses Mandiri. Firstly, it is essential to conduct a comprehensive evaluation of the factors that affect employee performance. A more comprehensive assessment of workloads, provision of training to improve competence, and tighter supervision can be a strategic step in increasing productivity and quality of employee performance. Thus, companies are not only able to achieve the desired targets but also create a healthier and more productive work environment.

The implementation of the policy resulting from this analysis is expected not only to have a positive impact on employee performance but also for the growth and sustainability of PT Sushi Indo Sukses Mandiri in an increasingly competitive market.
