Analysis Of The Different Test Of Average Revenue Of Certified And Non-Certificate Seed Rice Farmers (Case: Telaga Meuku 2 Village, Kec. Banda Mulia, Aceh Tamiang Regency)
Introduction
The use of certified seeds in rice farming has been a topic of interest for many years, with some farmers opting for this type of seed while others choose non-certificate seeds. The main objective of this study is to analyze the difference in the average cost of rice farming between farmers who use certified seeds and those who use non-certificate seeds. Additionally, this research aims to explore the differences in the average income of farmers based on the type of seed they use. The study was conducted in Telaga Meuku 2 Village, Kec. Banda Mulia, Kab. Aceh Tamiang, and the results of this study can provide valuable insights for policymakers, farmers, and other stakeholders.
Methodology
The analysis method applied in this study is the Independent Sample T-Test test, which makes it possible to test whether there is a significant difference between two data groups. This test is widely used in statistical analysis to compare the means of two independent groups. In this study, the data collected from farmers who use certified seeds and those who use non-certificate seeds were analyzed using the Independent Sample T-Test test.
Results
The results of the study showed that, although there were no significant differences in the average cost of rice farming between farmers who used certified and non-certificate seeds, there were significant differences in the average income between the two groups. That is, although the costs incurred by the two groups of farmers are not much different, the income earned by farmers who use certified seeds is higher than farmers who use non-certificate seeds.

From the research results, we can draw some important conclusions. First, the use of certified seeds can have a positive impact on farmers' income. Although the initial costs incurred may not be much different, certified seeds tend to produce higher quality products, which in turn can increase selling prices in the market.
Second, these results show the importance of education and training for farmers regarding the benefits of using certified seeds. By providing better information about the long-term benefits of the use of certified seeds, farmers can be more motivated to switch from non-certificate seeds to certified seeds, which in turn can increase their income.
