Introduction

Results

The results of this study showed that the costs incurred by fishermen of motorboat workers reached Rp1,497,210 per month for 19 trips. On the other hand, the receipts obtained by fishermen from fishing activities reached Rp4,186,345 per month for the same number of trips. Thus, the net income received by labor fishermen is around Rp2,689,135 per month. These results indicate that the income of labor fishermen is still in a proper condition to continue, even though it is at a moderate level of welfare.

Although net income is sufficient for survival, it is important for fishermen to think about more efficient cost management.
